Kayleigh Ashford |Student with Animal Care College – Caring for people caring for animals
For the love of dogs
Course: Puppy training and Socialisation
Kayleigh Ashford was one of the first students to complete this Level III for the pet superstore group Pets at Home. She received a Distinction and there is no doubt that her work was outstanding.
Kayleigh has worked for Pets at Home for five years and was promoted to Assistant Manager very quickly. She is currently a designate manager travelling around stores covering for staff and advising on problems. Previously she was a manager and head falconer at a Bird of Prey centre working with both the birds and running the reptile section.
She has a menagerie at home – three dogs, two rabbits, two Bearded Dragons and two Aquaria – so is clearly dedicated to animal care. She organises and runs numerous events for various dog charities, particularly Greyhound Rescue and Dogs Trust.
