Kennel Club awards Animal Care College Preferred Educational Provider (PEP) Status

The Animal Care College is delighted it has fulfilled the requirements to be recognised as a Preferred Educational Provider for the Kennel Club’s Accredited Instructors Scheme.  The College has supported the scheme for many years and looks forward to working with both the KCAI team and its members in the future.

The College was founded in 1980 so has 35 years experience delivering distance learning courses and has worked with the armed forces, the police, charities and large organisations such as Pets at Home as well as thousands of individual students.  There are now over forty courses which include canine psychology, physiology, behaviour modification, pet bereavement, kennel management, first aid, breeding and working in animal care.

Many courses have a near perfect ‘fit’ to the criteria set out in the KCAI framework and the College is always pleased to offer advice as to suitable courses.  Courses are made up of a number of Units and these can stand alone where necessary so can be ‘tailored’ to fulfil the specific needs of students.  The details of each Unit is set out under the course heading on our website www.animalcarecollege.co.uk.
