T Levels are courses that will be on a par with A levels and will provide young people with a choice between technical and academic education post 16.
Courses in construction, digital, education and childcare will be first taught from September 2020. A further 22 courses will be rolled out in stages from 2021, which will cover sectors such as finance & accounting, engineering & manufacturing, and creative & design.
We don’t know much more as yet, and it’s not clear if it will be possible to study for the new qualification by distance learning – but here’s a link with more information for the curious.
