“I am a laboratory Technician for a medical products company. I work within the Research & Development department and assist our engineers in setting up and performing test work.

I test products and components to specific test methods and procedures. This is to ensure the performance of products within the market place are correct, and most importantly are compliant to specifications. I have cause to use numerous pieces of equipment that require calibration. Performing calibration on our in house equipment will be more cost effective and also prevent items being out of service while awaiting calibration. This will ensure equipment will be more accessible to us on a day to day basis.

This calibration course will aid us in calibrating not just lab equipment but other devices within our site.”
