The Association’s Code of Ethics is very important to us – read it in full here
It sets out in detail what we feel is important – to maintain high standards in all that we and our Member Colleges do, to provide a good and reliable service to our students and learners.
We have recently decided to add a new clause to the Code. We are sure that all our Members and associates already support and maintain these values, but nonetheless it is important to state them clearly.
This is the clause –
To implement values of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace and in their relations with students, and to make sure that these values are reflected in their publicity and teaching materials and online resources.
Before we implement this, we would welcome your comments – is this the best wording, have we omitted anything, can it be improved on?
